What’s it all about?

On 27th June 2025 we lost our lovely Bev to the terrible cancer known as EGFR which is a type of lung cancer affecting around 3000 people annually.
Bev was an amazing and much loved wife, mum and nonna to all of her family. Equally Bev was prominent in the lives of many people as a Registered Nurse, Queens Nurse, University and College Lecturer and Care Provider.
We know many will be joining us on this evening of celebration and be testament to Bev’s many amazing achievements.
With Bev’s passing it seemed wholly fitting to do whatever possible to both join those left behind by way of a celebratory event and raise as much money as possible to be fed into EGFR Research. Bev’s Butterfly Ball was given oxygen and life and our planning began.
The event has several aims. We are keen to get together everyone who knew and loved Bev and truly celebrate her life and achievements as a large family unit. This will include but not be limited to Bev’s friends work colleagues past and present and the many students and employees whose lives and careers have been touched by Bev and her amazing ability to connect empathise and improve.
Raising Money
Last but not least its all about raising money on the night please enjoy the event be generous and help us on our mission.
